Multi Generational Braided Broom
My Grandmother taught me how to tie a bow. She used to make dresses for my sister and I when we were girls, and she always said, “There’s nothing worse than a pretty dress with an ugly bow!”
She showed us how to tie them, step by step, so that we would have bows that matched the beauty of our dresses. The beauty of her love.
This piece features two full bodied brooms, cradling a third smaller broom. Woven, plaited, braided and adorned by Nam Joti Kaur Khalsa 2024.
One of a kind and part of a collection of braided brooms.
