Blue Sky, Earthbound II: Indigo & The Language Of Resistance

$125.00

Saturday, August 23, 2025

10am - 5pm

Wimberley, Texas

Location provided in the Welcome Letter

In this full-day workshop, we’ll journey into the alchemy of indigo and the poetic power of resistance. Students will learn traditional resist techniques—such as stitching, folding, binding, and clamping—to create patterns that emerge through the deep blue of the indigo vat. All materials are provided, including pre-washed fabric to practice on and sew during class.

We’ll take time to slow down, stitch with intention, and watch as fabric transforms with each dip into the dye. Whether you are new to indigo or returning to its mysteries, this class offers space to experiment, connect, and create.

Participants are also welcome to bring natural fiber items from home (cotton, linen, silk) to dye. No prior experience necessary—just curiosity, a steady needle, and a willingness to get a little blue.
