You are invited to retreat into stillness and sacred sound. The “Sadhana, Sound and Silence Retreat” is an opportunity to move gently, turn down the external distractions and look Within. This is a Silent retreat, intended to create a container for deep introspection and rest. For four nights and three full days, our focus will be on waking during the Ambrosial Hour for Sadhana (daily spiritual practice), being immersed in the sacred Sound technology of the Gong, Singing Bowls and Mantras; and experiencing the Golden Light of Yogic Silence.
Our venue is The Forest Sanctuary Of The One; a medicine temple nestled in the Juniper forests around Wimberley, Texas. The temple where we will practice Sadhana each morning is a dodecagonal maloka with an 36’ diameter, loosely styled after the Munay Sonqo maloka in Peru’s Sacred Valley. It features a beautiful spiraled roof design centered over a selenite altar. All guests are encouraged to take time to rest, swim in a natural spring, integrate and journal. Light homemade nourishing meals and herbal beverages will be provided throughout our time together.
Overall, this is an invitation to take time for yourSelf… to settle into the Silence that is always inside of you and to emerge refreshed.
All levels of Yogic experience are welcome, from the beginner to the seasoned practitioner.
